We built PlanAhead Money around one idea: your money is your business. This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and what our desktop apps do and don't do with your data.
Freedom Account and the Rapid Payoff Calculator are Windows desktop applications. They run entirely on your own computer. They do not connect to your bank, credit cards, or any financial institution. They do not create an online account, sync to a cloud dashboard, or send your financial data to us or anyone else. Your data file is saved where you choose (for example, Local Documents or OneDrive Documents), and you control it completely. The apps contain no advertising.
Newsletter and feedback forms. If you subscribe to our newsletter or send us feedback, we collect the information you enter (such as your email address and your message) so we can respond and send you the tips you asked for. Forms are processed by Netlify, our website host. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
Free online calculator and quiz. The numbers you enter in the free calculator and the quiz are processed in your browser. We do not store or transmit them.
Purchases. When purchasing is available, payments will be handled by a payment processor that collects the billing information needed to complete your order under its own privacy policy. We would receive your name, email address, and order details so we can deliver your software and provide support. We never see or store your full card number.
Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting website analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal information.
You can ask us to correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by contacting us through the feedback page. We'll respond as quickly as we can.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
